Top 5 Learnings from the E-commerce panel at IMMAP’s DigiCon Power of X

The Power of X, Digicon gathered all the digital natives and professionals in one big event last October 10-12, 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). It was a three day event chock-full of surprises celebrating the Internet Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines’ (IMMAP) 10th anniversary.

This event featured 10 tracks with 10 different speakers. Example for the tracks are E-commerce, Loyalty and CRM, Search and Social, Brand Marketing, Marketing Technology, Creatives and others.

Of course as part of the digital space, we are sure to be a part of this event. Our booth was designed to be engaging, fun and packed with prizes.

During October 12, 2016, we were part of the E-commerce track as part of the E-commerce panel the topic “Managing Online Stores” along with other E-commerce platforms like Lazada, Zalora, and Marketa. We were there to represent how shopinas has been able to manage different merchants that use our platform.

To make the panel discussion more engaging and relatable, we brought along one of our pioneer merchants in the platform with an interesting success story to tell.

Nikki Cruz, Head of Marketing for Snoe Beauty Inc. engaged the audience with how they started from bazaars then expanding their business online with shopinas as their first marketplace, continuing their success with retail stores in Malls to having their own E-commerce platform.

2. Product Reviews are important for our brand

3. Show your brand’s personality

4. Customers use the five senses so you have to make content that appeals to the senses

5. Put your products online and FOCUS

Mark Joseph Panganiban, Business Development Head of shopinas, explains how Snoe Beauty explored the hunting and gathering method from different marketplaces to having their own E-commerce platform that gathers all their loyal customers.
