From General Santos, the next stop for the Go Negosyo Kapatid Mentor Me Money Market Encounter program (KMME) was in Bauang, La Union. This next stop was to target Ilocos Region MSMEs that are graduates of the Kapatid Mentor Me programs. The attendees were around 200 entrepreneurs from all over the Ilocos Region – Region 1. It was held at Hotel Ariana, Bauang, La Union last October 26, 2018.
Every MSME present was carrying their own product. So there was an assortment of products from peanut butter, turones de mani, chicharon up to fruit wine. We weren’t surprised to find these products in this event.
We figured that out the time the shopinas team arrived in La Union. La Union is rich in fruits, foods and lots of surfing memorabilia. They have grape farms that is perfect for picking.
We had fun going around La Union. We wish we could stay longer.
It was the perfect venue to invite MSMEs all over the region. This focused on reminding the Region 1 MSMEs to maximize the opportunities that will be given to them.
As Go Negosyo KMME graduates, these MSMEs are inspired to take their businesses to the next level.
